Chanakya Neeti

Today I got myself a copy of Chanakya Neeti..Not sure if this was the same book some one had recommended me (written by Chanakya) but felt this could be a good outlook..But I may not read it in full vigour till Apr 14 (have my exams...)..no..I should be reading it before that..I cannot hold myself back..

Just scrolled through the pages and my eyes landed on a page in which he sees we need to raise children by scolding and using stick...Something which I have seen as being objected in many other articles..quite interesting..let us see..

I see my sister's kid growing up, here at my house, in front of my eyes..What a marvellous creation we all are..How planned a creation !!! There could not be a better creation !!! God, the Universal Architect..Just see the phases in a child's growth..from the moment he is conceived to delivery (a thing for which I think we all men will have to bow a thousand times before a woman, for the pains she takes to bring it up in Her womb as a part of her..for any other cell than grows up like this..we call it a tumor but this is LIFE) and then from the stage he starts smiling, kneeling, walking..how planned..how meaningful..So amazing to understand that a complete living being starts with two cells..How they unite..How it grows and the how for each stage God prepares his body to be ready to go to the next stage..His necks stiffens before he learns to turn his body and lay on his stomach..his knees and legs get strong by time he kneels..and so on..

What strikes me is the innocence..the smile...which we all loose some time during the so called refinement of our brains through the so called "learning" process..and in the rush to win our daily breads...
